An Foras Feasa offers John Hume Scholarships for two PhD students each year. The successful PhD candidates can  be supervised solely by a faculty member in An Foras Feasa. Alternatively, the successful candidate can be co-supervised by a member of An Foras Feasa and a member of another academic department. Taught Masters Bursaries

There are three types of taught masters bursaries available to incoming students.

An Foras Feasa Taught Masters Scholarships

For the 2015-16 academic year, An Foras Feasa will offer two Taught Masters Scholarships for highly qualified applicants. These scholarships will cover tuition for two students for the 2015-16 academic year.  Students wishing to be considered for the scholarship can do so through the PAC application system. Students wishing to be considered for a scholarship should apply by 30 April 2015. Find the terms and conditions  here.

University-Wide Taught Masters Bursaries: this scholarship has now closed for 2014-15

In 2014, Maynooth University offered 60 Taught Masters Bursaries to students commencing Taught Masters studies in September 2014. The bursaries are worth €2,000 cash and will be awarded to highly qualified students accepted onto a Masters programme commencing this September.  Applicants  must have been in receipt of a SUSI or City/County Council Higher Education Grant for their undergraduate Bachelor’s degree studies. Taught Masters Bursary Applications received by the 1st May will be considered in the 1st Round of Bursary offers to be made to students in June 2014. Closing date June 16th. Taught Masters Alumni Scholarships 2014: this scholarship has now closed for 2014-15.

These postgraduate scholarships for Masters study will provide 4 graduates of Maynooth University (including the graduating class of 2014) with a €5,000 scholarship towards fees for a full-time Taught Masters programme at Maynooth University in September 2014.
