In-Class Presentations

Presentation 1: Review of a digital history project

Each student is required to make a 10 minute presentation to the class on a digital history project of their choice. Students can choose to present on the same digital history project that they intend to write their blog post on. However, the mark will take into consideration how each student tailors their review to fit with the medium of a face-to-face presentation. E.g. Simply reading the text of their blog post will result in a very low mark!

Due Date: Presentations will take place in class on Tuesday 14 October 2014

% of overall mark: 10

Presentation 2: Presentation and demonstration of a digital tool

Each student is required to present and demonstrate a digital tool that is useful for digital history. Each presentation and demonstration should be 10 minutes. As in Presentation 1, students can choose to present on the same digital tool that they review for their blog post provided they tailor the review content to fit the medium of presentation.

Due Date: Presentation will take place in class on Tuesday 25 November 2014.

% of overall module mark: 10

The essay should not be longer than 5000 words and must be fully referenced using MLA guidelines. Each student is required to submit a short proposal outlining their chosen essay topic in Week 7.
